The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA)

The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (URA) is the City of Pittsburgh’s economic development agency, committed to creating jobs, expanding the City’s tax base and improving the vitality of businesses and neighborhoods. The URA works with commercial, residential and mixed-use developers and offers a variety of resources and tools to support development within the City of Pittsburgh.


The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED)

The Department of Community and Economic Development’s mission is to encourage the shared prosperity of all Pennsylvanians by supporting good stewardship and sustainable development initiatives across the commonwealth. DCED acts as advisors and advocates, providing strategic technical assistance, training, and financial resources to help our communities and industries flourish.


Governor’s Action Team (GAT)

With direct access to the governor, the Governor’s Action Team works with developers and businesses to assemble an assistance package tailored to specific needs. This can include tax credit, financing, and grant programs.
